The Power of Good Photography
Lately, I have really been into landscape photography that captures the merging of urban and wild environments. A photo I am really into these days, in fact I have made it the wallpaper on my computer, is a scene that shows the two seeming to live in harmony. This goes along with the current trend in the political sphere of creating sustainable cities that integrate nature instead of endeavoring to dominate and control it. The photo is what appears to be a wetland park with buildings int he backdrop. But like I say, the way the photo is taken is that it does not appear that either is being subjugated or negated. In fact, the photo suggests that the two can live in harmony, and that this is a good thing both for nature and society. It is amazing that I am able to take that much away from a photo taken from a city park, but that is the power of good photography.
