My Business is Involved to a Great Degree in Humanitarian Work
I was getting more interested in humanitarian work for my business and my employees. I like projects that we all can work on together that will make the world a little better. I know that you can’t force people to give their time or money, but I also know that people need to be motivated to think outside themselves and look at what some others in the world have to endure. It is easy to get wrapped up in our own daily routines and struggles and just ignore the suffering and need going on all around us. I put my money where my mouth is and take a portion of my employees on the clock time and have them come up with ways to raise money for humanitarian work. This way there is no pressure to volunteer. Those who get fire inside of them to make positive changes go on to volunteer time outside of the paid time I set aside every month. These are the people I put in charge of the projects. We have raised a significant amount of money for helping those in need doing it this way.

Surprising Her with Trip
I love skiing. I could go to the resort that is about an hour away and ski all season long for one price and that is usually what I will do. Even with that, there are times that I want to just get away to someplace I have never been so I can test out some new slopes. I looked up ski Meribel because my wife has been hinting that she would like to go there and see what it is all about. I was really impressed not only with the slopes but with the accommodations all around. I went ahead and made some reservations and I cannot wait to let her know. I figured we don’t really do a whole lot other than work so we deserve a nice break like this. I am just debating on when and where to tell her because I know she is probably going to scream with happiness!

Not a Great Night in Manchester
Oh boy, I watched the TV in my apartment and saw the trouble in London on Monday and then watched as it came to Manchster last night. Luckily I was safely sat in my short stay apartment and had been able to buy some ingredients earlier so that I could cook myself some supper in the kitchette last night.
I’m going to venture out onto Manchester’s streets this morning and have a look for myself. However, I was heartened to read about local people in other UK cities who had used Twitter to organise the good folks to clean about the mess after the trouble the night before. Gives hope to everyone in these very strange times. With my limited knowledge of Manchester people I am sure they will similarly rally around and do the best they can to get the city center sorted out and cleaned up as soon as possible.

Tunisia Clear Waters and Beautiful Beaches
Summer has come and it is time to look for a relaxing beach holiday. You can get to Enfidha, Tunisia by plane from Gatwick in no time at all but make sure you book one of several available gatwick hotels with parking after your date has been confirmed.
On arrival at Enfidha – Hammamet one can see the great show of plants in its luxurious gardens. There are two principal islands along with five smaller islets. There is only one resort on the islands and a light breeze just about sways the date palms. It is a great place to simply chill out and do a spot of bird watching. You can also hire bicycles and cycle around the two main islands that are joined by a causeway. Amongst the resort can be found the remains of an old Ottoman fort which you can take a look at as well.
Tabarka is another stunning beach location not far from Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. The waters are crystal clear on a lovely beach surrounded by scenic rocks and Mediterranean coral. High above the beach is a Genoese castle and in the distant background the Khroumerie Mountains. Backpackers used to visit this area in large numbers but this is changing though there are still only low key hotels not suitable for the package tour industry. It is also popular amongst divers who come to view the coral so if you have never experienced diving then this is the time to do it.
A climb up to the old Genoese castle to watch the sun set over pinnacles of rock that line the shores is a worthwhile trip if you are feeling energetic.

Thinking of Going on Holiday in Crete
I spent the morning pricing out a holiday in Crete. I got the cost of everything down and I can afford to take Jenny there for her birthday without much difficulty, although I would not have a ton of money left over to spend. I have been looking at the cost of villas in Crete to rent and wondering if that is the way to go, by which I mean we would get some other couple to come in with us on it. Frank and Lilly are interested and most of these villas are big enough for three or four couples. Actually they are designed for large families to spend a holiday I think. We get on well with them too. Of course it makes no sense for us alone, but we could easily afford that if we got them to come and that would leave us a lot more money for while we are actually on holiday.

Surfing in Fiji is So Adventurous
I never knew that surfing in Fiji would be so adventurous, but I was totally surprised by all the big waves that I got by the shore. I never knew that I would have so much fun on such a little, such as the island nation of Fiji. My friends have been telling me that they would not go to Fiji, because they do not believe that they would get as many big waves as they get in Miami, Florida. I told them that they were wrong, and that they would get many big waves when they go surfing in Fiji. That is the best part of my vacation to Fiji. The surfing will have all of my friends stoked. They have even seen videos of me surfing on some really huge waves in Fiji. I had my girlfriend video record the whole ordeal. They definitely want to go now.
